Ordering
Shipping & delivery
How orders are picked, packed and delivered — and what to do if something goes wrong in transit.
Dispatch times
In-stock catalog items are picked and dispatched on the next business day after payment clears. Orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are processed on the following business day.
Items on backorder are shown as such on the product page before you buy. Where a backordered line would hold up an otherwise complete order, we will contact you and offer to split the shipment rather than delay everything.
Delivery methods
- Standard tracked — typically 3–5 business days from dispatch. Free on orders above the threshold shown at checkout.
- Expedited — typically 1–2 business days from dispatch, priced at checkout.
- Consolidated shipping — multiple SKUs on one order ship together in a single insulated parcel rather than as separate deliveries.
Exact cost and timing are confirmed on the invoice we send after you place an order, so there is never a surprise charge at the point of payment.
Packaging & cold chain
Lyophilized peptides are shipped in sealed glass vials, packed to survive normal carrier handling. Where the format calls for it, material ships insulated with cold packs.
Short temperature excursions during transit are expected and do not compromise correctly lyophilized material — the powder is far more robust than the reconstituted solution. On arrival, move sealed vials to −20 °C storage promptly, dry and protected from light.
Tracking
A tracking number is emailed when the shipment leaves us. If you hold an account, the order and its status are also visible in your account area. Documentation — including the lot-matched certificate of analysis — can be sent with the dispatch notification on request, and is released ahead of dispatch on request.
International orders
Our standard service is domestic US shipping. International destinations are handled case by case, because import rules for research reagents vary considerably between jurisdictions and some molecules are restricted in ways that differ from their US status.
Contact us with the destination country before ordering and we will tell you whether we can serve it, what documentation the shipment will carry, and whether any additional verification is needed. Where we do ship internationally, the importer of record is responsible for duties, taxes and compliance with local rules.
Damaged or lost shipments
If material arrives damaged, photograph the package and its contents before disposing of anything and contact us within seven days of the carrier's recorded delivery date. Damaged material is replaced.
If a tracked shipment does not arrive, tell us and we will open a trace with the carrier. Once the trace concludes, the shipment is replaced or refunded. We do not ask customers to pursue carriers themselves.
