Terms of sale & use
These terms govern your use of this site and any order you place through it. The research-use restriction in the first section is the most important part — please read it.
Research use only
Every product supplied through this site is a laboratory reagent intended solely for in-vitro research and laboratory experimentation. Nothing sold here is a drug, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic or medical device. Nothing sold here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Nothing sold here is for human or veterinary use, and none of it may be administered to humans or animals.
By placing an order you accept sole responsibility for the safe handling, storage, use and disposal of the material, and for compliance with every law, regulation and institutional policy that applies to you. You agree not to resell or supply the material for any purpose inconsistent with these restrictions.
Who may order
Orders may only be placed by a person aged 18 or over who is a qualified purchaser acting on behalf of a research institution, laboratory, clinic, contract research organisation or comparable organisation. By ordering you confirm that this describes you.
We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we cannot satisfy ourselves about the purchaser's eligibility or intended use. Prescription reference listings are subject to additional verification before any order is accepted.
Orders & pricing
Submitting an order through this site is an offer to buy, not a concluded contract. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order and issue an invoice. No payment is taken at the point of checkout.
Prices shown are in US dollars and exclude shipping and any applicable taxes or duties, which are confirmed on the invoice. We take care to keep pricing and stock accurate, but where an obvious error appears we may correct it and give you the choice of proceeding at the corrected price or cancelling without charge.
Documentation
Catalog peptides are released against a certificate of analysis whose lot number matches the vial label. Specifications shown on product pages state the standard a lot must meet before release; the certificate records the result for the lot you actually receive.
Certificates are available on request before or after ordering. Where a lot number cannot be reconciled with its documentation, tell us and we will replace the material.
Delivery & risk
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery by the carrier. Claims for damage in transit must be raised within seven days of the carrier's recorded delivery date, with photographs, as set out in theshipping policy.
You are the importer of record for any international shipment and are responsible for duties, taxes and compliance with local import rules.
Liability
We warrant that material supplied conforms to the specification on its certificate of analysis at the time of dispatch. That warranty is the entirety of what we promise about the goods; all other warranties, express or implied, are excluded to the fullest extent the law permits.
Our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for the material in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost research time, spoiled experiments or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Because the materials are supplied for research use only, we accept no liability whatsoever for any use inconsistent with that restriction.
Site content
The text, structure, specifications, guides and glossary on this site are our property or licensed to us. You may read, print and reference them for your own research and purchasing purposes. You may not republish them commercially or scrape them systematically without written permission.
Technical information on this site is provided to help you specify material correctly. It is not advice on how to use these substances in any living subject, and must not be read as such.
Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continue in force.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
