Semax 10 mg vial, 15 mL metered spray bottle and buffered diluent in one kit
- Research areasIntranasal delivery characterisation, spray plume and droplet-size work, aqueous peptide stability, BDNF/NGF expression and cognition models
Supplied for laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Overview
This kit pairs a 10 mg vial of Semax with the hardware needed to prepare and study it as a metered spray: one 15 mL fine-mist spray bottle with pump, dip tube and protective cap, a bottle of sterile buffered isotonic diluent, and blank labels. Everything arrives in one package, so a spray-format study can be set up without sourcing bottle, diluent and peptide separately.
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide based on the ACTH(4-10) fragment, sequence Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro, CAS 80714-61-0, molecular formula C37H51N9O10S, molecular weight 813.93 g/mol. Supplied here as ≥99% HPLC-purity lyophilized powder with a lot-matched certificate of analysis, it is the same material as our standalone Semax vials, and it appears in the literature on neurotrophic factor expression, attention and memory models, cerebral ischaemia and oxidative stress.

Questions about Nasal Spray DIY Kit (Semax 10 mg · Spray Bottle · Solution)
What is in the kit?
One 10 mg lyophilized Semax vial, one empty 15 mL metered spray bottle with pump, dip tube and cap, one bottle of sterile buffered diluent, and blank labels. It is everything needed to prepare and characterise a spray-format research solution in a single package.
How much peptide does each spray deliver?
That depends on the volume the pump actually delivers per actuation, which should be measured gravimetrically rather than taken from a specification sheet. Multiply the measured volume by the assayed concentration to obtain delivered mass, and re-check it across the study window.
Is a certificate of analysis included?
The Semax supplied in the kit is analysed by reverse-phase HPLC to ≥99% purity with mass-spectrometric identity confirmation, and a lot-matched COA is available on request against the vial's lot number. The bottle and diluent are hardware and consumables, not analysed peptide.
How long is the prepared solution good for?
That is an empirical question for the study to answer, not a figure we can state. The buffered diluent is preserved, but methionine oxidation and adsorption losses both proceed in aqueous solution. Keep the bottle cold, dark and upright, and assay at the start and end of the working period.
