Overview
Semax + Selank pairs two Russian-developed heptapeptides in one co-lyophilized vial. Semax (CAS 80714-61-0, Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro) is a synthetic analogue of the ACTH(4–10) fragment with a C-terminal Pro-Gly-Pro extension that removes the corticotropic activity of the parent hormone while markedly slowing enzymatic breakdown. Selank (CAS 129954-34-3, Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) is built the same way from the endogenous immunomodulatory tetrapeptide tuftsin, again stabilised by the Pro-Gly-Pro tail. Both were designed to be short, synthetically accessible and resistant to rapid plasma degradation.
Supplied as sterile-filtered, lyophilized white powder in a sealed vial at a 1:1 ratio — 5 mg of each peptide in the 10 mg vial, 10 mg of each in the 20 mg vial. Each lot is third-party HPLC tested at ≥99% purity with a lot-matched Certificate of Analysis. Sold for laboratory research use only; MyPeptide provides no dosing, protocol or administration guidance.

Questions about Semax + Selank
What exactly is in each vial?
Semax and Selank co-lyophilized at a 1:1 ratio. The 10 mg vial holds 5 mg of each peptide; the 20 mg vial holds 10 mg of each. Both are supplied as a single powder cake, so the ratio is fixed at manufacture and cannot be varied after reconstitution.
Are both peptides third-party tested, and is a COA available?
Yes. Each lot is third-party analysed by HPLC to ≥99% purity with mass-spectrometry identity confirmation for both components, and a lot-matched Certificate of Analysis is available. Check the lot number on the vial against the COA before logging any data.
How do Semax and Selank differ?
Semax derives from the ACTH(4–10) fragment and is studied mainly in BDNF, neurotrophin and attention models. Selank derives from tuftsin and is studied in GABAergic, enkephalinergic and stress-response models. They share the Pro-Gly-Pro stabilising tail but not their mechanistic literature.
What solvent should be used?
Bacteriostatic water is the standard laboratory choice; both heptapeptides are freely water-soluble. Add the solvent gently down the vial wall and swirl rather than shaking. Consult the lot COA for any solvent notes specific to the batch.
