Overview
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from tuftsin, the immunomodulatory tetrapeptide Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg found in the Fc region of immunoglobulin G. As with Semax, a Pro-Gly-Pro tail is attached to the C-terminus to slow peptidase cleavage, giving the seven-residue sequence Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro and a molecular weight of 751.89 g/mol.
MyPeptide supplies Selank as a lyophilized powder in 5 mg and 10 mg vials for in vitro assays, analytical work and approved animal model research. Each lot is HPLC-verified with a matched certificate of analysis and ships from a US facility. Selank is a research chemical only — it is not a medicine, supplement or consumer product and must not be administered to humans or animals outside a controlled research setting.

Questions about Selank
How is Selank tested for purity?
Each lot is assayed by reversed-phase HPLC for purity and confirmed by mass spectrometry for identity. A lot-matched certificate of analysis listing purity, observed molecular mass and test date is available on request, so the documentation corresponds to the specific batch shipped to you.
What sizes and prices are offered?
Selank is available as a 5 mg vial and a 10 mg vial of lyophilized powder. Choosing the larger vial keeps a longer experimental series on a single lot number, which simplifies analytical comparison across runs.
Is Selank stable in solution?
Lyophilized powder stored at −20 °C is the stable form. In aqueous solution, peptides of this class are best kept refrigerated at 2–8 °C, protected from light, and used within the planned study window. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided.
Can Selank be used by people?
No. This product is supplied for laboratory research use only. It is not a drug, supplement or cosmetic ingredient, is not approved for human or veterinary administration, and should be handled only by trained personnel in an appropriate research environment.
What solvent is recommended?
Selank is freely water soluble; bacteriostatic water is the standard choice for benchtop reconstitution, and sterile water is used where a preservative-free solution is required. Working concentration is determined by your own assay protocol.
