Overview
The Sleep Stack brings together three compounds that appear repeatedly in circadian and sleep-architecture research, supplied as three separately sealed lyophilized vials rather than a premixed blend. Delta sleep-inducing peptide (DSIP) is an endogenous nonapeptide, Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu, isolated from rabbit cerebral venous blood during slow-wave sleep and studied since the 1970s for its association with EEG delta activity. Epitalon is the synthetic AEDG tetrapeptide derived from pineal extract research, examined for effects on melatonin rhythm and telomerase activity. Melatonin itself, N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine, is the pineal indoleamine that sets the darkness signal in vertebrate circadian systems.
Grouping them makes sense as a research panel because each addresses a different layer of the same system: melatonin is the timing hormone, Epitalon is studied as a modulator of the pineal machinery that produces it, and DSIP is investigated at the level of sleep-stage electrophysiology rather than clock phase. A study using all three can compare a direct signal, an upstream regulator and an independent sleep-associated peptide within one experimental design.

Questions about Sleep Stack (DSIP · Epitalon · Melatonin)
Which compounds are included?
DSIP (delta sleep-inducing peptide, the nonapeptide WAGGDASGE), Epitalon (the AEDG tetrapeptide bioregulator) and melatonin (N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine). Each is a distinct research target: sleep-stage electrophysiology, pineal regulation and MT1/MT2 receptor signalling respectively.
Are certificates of analysis included?
Yes. Every vial carries its own lot number and matching COA covering HPLC purity and mass-spectrometric identity confirmation for the peptide components. Request copies by lot number and keep them filed with your experimental records.
Why does melatonin need different handling?
Melatonin is poorly soluble in water compared with the two peptides, so laboratories typically use a small co-solvent fraction to prepare stock. It is also light-sensitive in solution. Any co-solvent used must appear identically in vehicle controls or it becomes an uncontrolled variable.
Can the three be combined in one solution?
They are supplied separately precisely so that combination is an experimental decision rather than a fixed formulation. If a study calls for co-administration, prepare each solution independently first, verify compatibility at working concentration and always run single-agent arms alongside.
Is this kit for personal use?
No. Every component is supplied strictly for laboratory research by qualified personnel. None is a drug, supplement or sleep aid as sold here, and nothing in the kit may be administered to humans or animals outside an approved research protocol.
