Overview
GHRP-2, also catalogued as pralmorelin, is a synthetic hexapeptide agonist of the growth hormone secretagogue receptor GHS-R1a. Its sequence — D-Ala-D-2-Nal-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2 — descends from the enkephalin-derived GHRP-6 scaffold, with a D-2-naphthylalanine at position 2 that markedly increased potency and a D-alanine at the N-terminus that blunts aminopeptidase attack.
